  1. What if we are visiting on a ship or if we do not have transportation?

  1. No problem...we pick up and drop off at no additional charge from most places on the island. Contact us to schedule pick up/drop off arrangements. Of course there are safari taxis available to take you to most places on the island if you choose.

  1. What equipment do I need?

  1. That depends on your individual situation. Most people prefer to provide their own personal gear such as mask, snorkel, booties fins, and gloves for optimal comfort. Many chose to travel light and rent the additional equipment but some provide their own. We are happy to accommodate all needs. For more information, see our "RATES" page.

  1. Do you have rental equipment?

  1. We offer a variety of top of the line equipment to meet your diving needs. We realize that safe, comfortable gear creates an enjoyable diving experience. Please make arrangements for rental equipment prior to the course or scheduled activity. For a complete list of equipment and rates, see our "RATES" Page.

  1. Do you offer Open Water Referral Programs?

  1. Yes, if you wish to complete your training here in the Virgin Islands, perhaps on your vacation, the beautiful Caribbean waters offer a unique underwater classroom environment to complete your training. For a list of approved referral affiliated organizations, see our "PROGRAMS" Page.

  1. What is required to take a course?

  1. It is not necessary to be in top physical condition but for most programs you should know how to swim. Some courses require heavy exertion and your breathing and circulatory systems must be in good health. All participants must read, discuss, and sign waver and release forms according to the course requirements. As in many sports, the key to an enjoyable diving experience is proper preparation and practicing safe procedures before, during, and after the dive.

  1. How long does it take to complete a course?

  1. That depends on what you want to do. We have many activities and programs ranging from the Try Scuba (no certification required) to advanced specialty courses up to (NAUI) Instructor’s Certification. For more information on offered programs, see our "PROGRAMS" Page.

  1. Am I required to dive with a guide?

  1. No, but all boat trips are provided with a guide at no additional charge to you.

  1. Can I come on a trip without a buddy?

  1. Yes, there will always be a diving buddy for you. Many of our passengers come as singles.

  1. I am flying to the island, are there any diving restriction I should follow?

  1. Yes, it is very important that you plan your trip so that you DO NOT FLY until after the recommended waiting periods. If you only do one no-decompression dive, you can fly after waiting 12 hours. If you do more than one no-decompression dive in a day or multiple days, the recommendation is that you wait 24 hours before you fly. If you make dives that require a decompression stop, wait more than 24 hours before flying.

  1. Can I bring food or drinks?

  1. Yes, but alcohol is strictly forbidden. We provide water and other refreshments but you are welcome to bring your own. Ask your captain or crew for information about what is available.

  1. Are Tips Required?

  1. Tipping is optional but always appreciated. If you enjoyed your diving experience, you can show your appreciation and tip the captain for distribution to the crew.

  1. Do you accept credit cards?

A. Yes, we accept most major credit cards...as a matter of fact, a credit card may be required to hold your reservations. We do have a standard cancellation policy. Refer to our "INFORMATION" Page for specifics on this policy and other helpful information.
