Certification Programs

 

1.  Antilles Scuba exceeds all requirements of the national certifying agencies.

2.  Typical class sizes range from four (4) students and up depending on program type.

3.  Instructor to student ratios will not exceed one (1) staff member for every five (5) students depending on single and buddy drills.

4.  All equipment is disinfected to satisfy all health standards.

5.  All equipment is inspected and maintained according to industry safety standards.

6.  Unless otherwise indicated, students must be twelve (12) years of age to be certified and if less than fifteen (15) years of age, qualifies as a junior diver with the signature of parent or guardian.

7.  Prerequisites to participate include:

     a).  an average swimming ability,

     b).  junior divers must take the course with a parent/guardian; or condition may be 

     waived if the parent/guardian is already a certified diver. 

8.  Payments for classes are handled via credit card or cash and are due in full on the first day of the first session of the class. 

9.  All requirements and release forms must be completed in full before training begins. 

 

General Policies

 

1.  Complementary pick up service is provided only for customers who are diving or snorkeling on guided tours and arrangements have been made in advance. 

2.  Payments must be made via cash or credit card. 

3.  Reservations should be made in advance to secure your space on the trip. Please make reservations as space is limited. 

4.  A credit card must be used to make reservations and is only processed if you authorize as payment for your trip or if a "no show" occurs.

5.  We accept most major credit cards (VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, and AMERICAN EXPRESS) with proper identification.

6.  CANCELLATION POLICY - Confirmed Cancellation within 48 hours is no charge.  Confirmed Cancellation thereafter is 25% charge.  No show is charged 100% of scheduled amount. 

7.  Bad weather may make it impossible to go out and since we can't control the weather, we will not charge cancellation fees.  If this occurs and we will make every attempt to reschedule your trip if time allows. 

8.  Remember that rain doesn't always mean that you cannot dive, so plan to dive unless we instruct you otherwise. 

9.  All documentation, waiver and release forms must be complete before you can go on one of our trips.
